![]() ![]() ![]() The book was a lot less angsty than I expected but I’m ok with it. I got the direction the author chose but I wanted one party to be featured more because that part of character/story development was stunted especially after something was expressed but never followed through. I won’t say which type this book is but I felt what happened was fixed too easily. When it comes to cheating, there are two types of story – the one that wreck it, or the one that mend it. His presence, despite not being the man I desperately want, is somehow soothing. Though, personally I wish she would have pushed more instead of just taking it. I understood her pain and her dilemma and I like how while she was dealing with her issue, she never neglected others around her. I could definitely put myself in Dahlia’s situation. I think it needs to snap, once and for all. I can’t keep hanging on by a frayed thread. I can say I didn’t regret trying this new author to me. ![]() And then I read the blurb, I knew I wanted to know more. This book first caught my attention with the beautiful cover. Starved for affection, she decided to take it even if it didn’t come from the man she promised her life to. Jared Williams came into her life when she needed him the most.
